DiskALERT respects your privacy completely.

This Privacy Policy explains what, how we collect, store, and use your personal data.

1. Data We Collect

  • Name, email address, and optionally your profile picture.
  • Vehicle information including license plate number, vehicle nickname, disk expiry date, and type.
  • Any additional trailer or vehicle unit data you manually enter.
  • Company names (if applicable), company permits or any other company details you may enter.
  • Company driver details (Driver name, contact details and Licence disk expiry date).

2. Data Usage

  • The collected data is used to help remind users of upcoming license and or permit renewals.
  • We may from time to time share your vehicle data with third parties, while processing any information to collaborate with any 3rd parties for any upcoming and future promotions, discounts, changes or "free" periods.
  • Any data entered will be kept safe in the diskALERT database, kept save using up-to-date security measures.

3. Data Storage

  • All data is securely stored using our data infrastructure, protected by encryption and security practices.
  • 'diskALERT' maintains the right to change the storage facility from time to time, should it be necessary, with or without notice to app users.
  • 'diskALERT' and its developers, will take it upon themselves, to make sure all user data is kept safe, transferred safely, and has the same, if not better, security rules within any new storage/database.

4. User Control

  • You can delete or edit your data (where applicable) at any time within the app.
  • Deleting your account will permanently remove all your locally stored data and 'diskALERT' will not in any way or form be held liable for lost data, or data that should be re-entered.

5. Children's Privacy

  • DiskALERT is not intended for children under the age of 18 (legal minimum driving age of most countries). If used by any person(s) under the legal age, supervision is advised.
  • "diskALERT" cannot be held liable for any difficulties/damages/charges experienced while using the app, by using the app, and or for using the app.

6. Changes

  • This policy may be (to the progress and liking of 'diskALERT'), updated from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
  • User keeps the right to delete the app/discontinue use at any time deemed necessary by any user.
